How do I pay for lessons?You can choose between two payment options: Weekly Subscription: Pay weekly based on the number of lessons you choose. Package Deal: Save with a discounted package of 30 lessons, paid upfront. We accept payments via e-transfer, credit card, or other secure methods. Details will be shared during registration.

Can I cancel or reschedule a class?Yes! You can cancel or reschedule a class up to 3 hours before the scheduled time without penalty. If you cancel with less than 3 hours’ notice, the lesson will be charged.

What happens if I miss a class?If you miss a class without canceling in advance, it will be charged. However, you can still access the class materials to stay on track.

How long are the lessons?Each lesson is typically 1 hour unless otherwise specified during registration. For private lessons, we can adjust the length based on your preferences.

How does the subscription plan work?With the subscription plan, you’ll pay weekly based on the number of lessons you select. You can adjust the number of lessons or cancel your subscription at any time with a week’s notice.

How does the package deal work?The 30-lesson package must be paid upfront or can be paid in 4 installments. You’ll save CAD 60 compared to the subscription plan. Package lessons must be used within 4 months from the purchase date.

Are there refunds?Refunds are not available for completed lessons or unused portions of a package once the 4-month validity has expired. A partial refund may be issued for unused package lessons if requested within 14 days of purchase.

What happens if I need to change teachers or schedules?If you’d like to change your teacher or adjust your schedule, let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. In rare cases, the school may need to assign a substitute teacher to maintain your schedule.

What materials are provided?All necessary materials for lessons are included in your course fee. These may include: Grammar guides, vocabulary sheets, and practice exercises. Access to digital tools like Ellii and Class Companion. You’ll also receive assignments and resources like podcasts, TEDx talks, and articles to practice outside of class. *depends on the course and language

How are lessons conducted?Lessons are available: Online: Via video conferencing platforms with screen-sharing and interactive tools. Online classes require a stable internet connection and a device suitable for video conferencing.

How many students are in mini-group classes?Mini-group classes consist of 2–4 students to ensure personalized attention while allowing for peer interaction and collaboration.

What happens if I’m late to a class?If you arrive late, the lesson will continue as scheduled, and missed time will not be extended. Please try to join on time to get the most out of your class.

Do I need to do homework?Homework is optional but highly recommended to reinforce what you learn in class. Assignments may include: Practicing grammar or vocabulary. Listening to podcasts or watching videos. Writing tasks or recording short speaking exercises. Your teacher will provide feedback on all assignments to help you improve.

Can I change my lesson plan or course type?Yes! If your goals change, you can switch from mini-group classes to private lessons or adjust your focus (e.g., from general English to exam preparation). Just let us know, and we’ll help you make the transition.

What happens if my subscription ends or my package runs out?For the subscription plan, you can renew weekly with no long-term commitment. For the package deal, you can purchase another package or switch to the subscription plan.
